At SSIF, policy is not just paperwork;  it's a lifeline. In the aftermath of the July Revolution, our teams are reimagining how health, disaster management, and public infrastructure serve the people of Bangladesh. We design agile, field-tested policy blueprints — from universal trauma insurance to maternal health diagnostics — and deliver them directly to interim governance and civic actors.

Our work is deeply embedded in lived crisis: we’ve partnered with Bangladesh’s defense forces in high-risk evacuations, post-crash rescues (including the Milestone Incident), and historic flood relief across Feni, Cumilla, and Noakhali. Whether it’s rapid-response road accident care or inclusive health systems, our National Crisis and Disaster Response Unit is rewriting the rules of public resilience.

Through multi-sector research labs, SDG-linked metrics, and grassroots testing, we turn the urgency of now into the policy of tomorrow.
